Component Deep-Dives

Graham NCAV35pts
The ratio of current price to NCAV per share. A stock at 50% of NCAV scores 35 points in this category. This is the heaviest-weighted component because Graham's 90+ years of evidence shows it's the strongest single predictor of future returns.
Insider Activity25pts
Open-market purchases by directors and executives, especially cluster buys within 48 hours. We weight the role of the insider, size of the purchase relative to compensation, and proximity to 52-week lows.
Social Momentum15pts
Rate of change in social mentions across Reddit, X, and StockTwits. We measure velocity, not absolute volume — a 300% increase in mentions from a low base is more significant than stable high volume.
Earnings Quality15pts
A composite of profitability trend, debt levels, revenue growth, and cash flow consistency. Companies burning cash score lower; profitable net-nets with growing revenue score highest.
Price Momentum10pts
3-month and 12-month performance versus the broader market index. A stock outperforming by 10%+ in the past 3 months scores well here.
